ANNE MCDONNELL was the WCCM regional coordinator for East Anglia, UK, and a teacher of the Community. She trained as a nurse, midwife, and counsellor, and worked in a therapeutic community. With her husband Mark, Anne set up Noggs Barn – a small retreat centre in her garden where she led a weekly meditation group, offered Spiritual Direction and conducted retreat days either with a programme or for use by individuals seeking their own quiet time.

Anne faced terminal cancer with deepening peace and wisdom which she shared with fellow meditators worldwide through her blog posts, interviews, and the booklet Meditation & Dying.
