FRANS DE RIDDER cicm is a missionary of the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. He spent the first fifteen years of his missionary life in Taiwan from 1965 to 1981. He then moved to Singapore where he was involved with the Marriage Encounter, Engaged Encounter, and Choice programmes, served as an ecclesial team priest, gave retreats, and participated in inter-religious dialogue. In January 2010 he moved back to Taiwan as Provincial Superior of CICM for Mongolia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. Fr Frans travels regularly to China to conduct retreats for priests, religious sisters and lay people.
